Trade Republic app not working — 2026 troubleshooting checklist

Login fails, orders won’t go through, withdrawal stuck for days, push-TAN doesn’t arrive? Is my money at risk during a TR outage?

No. Trade Republic Bank GmbH is a German full bank under BaFin supervision. Cash deposits up to €100,000 per customer are protected by statutory deposit insurance. Stocks are segregated assets — they belong to you, not TR, even in insolvency. An app outage affects neither. You just can’t actively manage your assets during the outage.

What if TR goes insolvent — do I get my stocks?

Yes. Stocks are segregated assets and would be transferred to a backup broker in an insolvency. Cash up to €100,000 is protected via German deposit insurance. For amounts above €100,000 the risk is real — anyone with more should split across two brokers.

How fast does TR support respond?
