Li Lu is the founder of Himalaya Capital and is famously known as the man who introduced Charlie Munger to BYD. He is the only outside manager that Charlie Munger ever trusted with his personal family fortune. Li Lu was a leader in the Tiananmen Square protests before moving to the United States and becoming a legendary value investor.

He combines the strict value principles of Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett with a deep understanding of the structural growth and technological shifts in Asia.
